Things happen sometimes, and you have no control over those things, but you do have a choice:
You can a victim, or you can be a survivor.

Rape is one of those things. A person who lives through rape is a survivor.
How they survive it determines whether or not they are a victim.

How can you, the Survivor, stop being a victim?

I am creating this informational site in order to help the women and children who have lived through experiences similar to the ones that I have. I have learned, through the making of this page, that reading statistics and other's stories helps to realize that you're not alone. That was, for me, the first step in healing a little. Before I started doing research on the internet and in books, I thought that I had gone through unique circumstances, when in truth, that is not the case. Sadly, there are hundreds of women and children on the face of the planet that have endured exactly what you have. It's nice knowing that you're not the only one, isn't it? Please feel free to look around and use what resources I provide.
Infact, I encourage you to do so. Good luck.
